Thermal imaging uses infrared cameras to visualize temperature variations across surfaces, revealing exactly where insulation is missing, damaged, or inadequate. Our thermal scans detect insulation gaps in walls, attics, and crawl spaces; air leaks around windows, doors, and electrical penetrations; moisture intrusion that compromises insulation performance; and failing seals on roof decks and flat roofs. The best results come during winter months when the temperature difference between inside and outside is greatest—at least 20°F—making heat loss patterns clearly visible on the infrared display.
