This week at the Merchandise Mart, vendors from all over the world have come together to display their extensive appliance and furniture collections. From Rugs to Hammocks, Dining Tables to Shade Cabanas, if you are looking for outdoor products, this is where you will find them.
I stopped by this morning to take a quick look around. While there were some winners, I must admit, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of originality in a lot of the pieces. Other than a handful of vendors from each sector (furniture, rugs, appliances) it seemed I was looking at a mass of synthetic 'wicker' furnitures in slightly varying shades of brown to beige.
But I'm going to look beyond that, and instead highlight some of the vendors and products that I found most impressive. Thanks to these companies, I would still highly recommend a trip to the 7th Floor of the Mart this week. Enjoy!
